Membership and Fees:

To swim with the Swedish Fish, swimmers have the following options:

Galter LifeCenter

Most of our swim practices happen at Galter LifeCenter. There are various membership and pass options. To learn about various options for swimming at Galter, email: ChicagoSwedishFish@gmail.com

Uplift Community High School

Coached workouts will run Thursday, February 1, 2024 through Saturday, April 27, 2024

  • Tuesday - 6-7pm

  • Thursday - 6-7pm

  • Saturday - 9-10:15am

  • Sunday - 9-10:15am

Northside College Prep

Coached workouts will run Wednesday, January 17, 2024 through Saturday, April 27, 2024

  • Wednesday - 6:15-7:15pm

  • Thursday - 6:15-7:15pm

Fees

Fees for ALL practices at Uplift and Northside:

  • $100.00 per month (Age 26-64)

  • $75.00 per month (Age Under 25 or Over 65)

  • $150.00 for 10 Practice Punch Card that can be used for any 10 practices in the session 

*Note: The first all-you-can-swim monthly charge for the winter/spring session includes all practices in January and February (23 total available practices). The second monthly fee is for March (20 practices), and the third for April (20 practices).

Drop-In Pass: $15.00 passes are reserved for new swimmers and guests from other USMS teams. These passes will need to be arranged prior to practice by sending an email to ChicagoSwedishFish@gmail.com.

No cash or checks will be accepted on deck.  Fees should be paid via Zelle or Venmo to ChicagoSwedishFish@gmail.com.  Checks can be sent to Swedish Fish NFP, 6602 N Harding Ave, Lincolnwood, IL 60712.

  1. Register or Renew your United States Masters Swimming membership. 

    USMS provides our general liability insurance during practices. Every person in the pool at Galter LifeCenter, Northside College Prep or Northeastern, including the coaches and lifeguards, needs to be a member of USMS or this liability insurance is voided.

    • CLUB: Chicago Swedish Fish Masters (SWED)

  5. (Optional) Purchase Swim Caps or Visit Team Store

    To order Neon (high visibility for open water) or Dark Blue swim cap, please send $10 to ChicagoSwedishFish@gmail.com using Chase QuickPay/Zelle, PayPal, or Venmo.
